A New Year’s Truth

I’ve learned to let what will be, be,

No more chains of doubt on me.

People come and people go,

Their true colors always show.

Time heals wounds, lessons stay,

I’ve grown stronger every day.

If you leave, then leave with grace,

I’ll find peace in my own space.

This year I rise, unbound, free,

A clearer, wiser, stronger me.
